LV Switchgear Manufacture & Assembly

Custom LV assemblies designed, built and tested in our Stoke-on-Trent workshop.

ENICO designs and assembles low-voltage switchgear to your specification — main switchboards, distribution panels, MCCB panel boards and control sections — designed to BS EN 61439. Send us a single-line diagram or a schedule of loads and we take it from there: design, build, test and delivery.

Every assembly leaves the workshop inspected and tested, with a test certificate in the door pocket and a QR code on the panel that links to its drawings, device datasheets and manuals — so the paperwork is never lost to a site cabin again.

What we build

  • Main and sub-main switchboards

Incomer, metering and outgoing-way arrangements built to your single-line diagram, with the incomer and busbar configuration your fault levels demand.

  • MCCB panel boards and distribution boards

Panel boards using the major manufacturers' devices, with integral metering options for landlord and tenant billing.

  • Forms of separation to suit the specification

Form 2 through Form 4 constructions where the specification calls for segregation of busbars, functional units and terminations.

  • Control and interface sections

Combined power and control assemblies — contactor control, interlocking, volt-free signalling and BMS interfaces in the same tier.

  • Refurbishments and panel modifications

Extensions, retrofits and re-works of existing assemblies, surveyed on site and modified in the workshop or in place.

Common questions

What do you need from us to price a switchboard?

A single-line diagram is ideal, but a schedule of ways, ratings and incoming supply details is enough to start. We come back with any questions and a straight quotation — standard boards are priced quickly; complex switchboards get the time honest pricing needs.

Can you match an existing panel or manufacturer's system?

Usually, yes. Tell us the manufacturer and range you need to match — or send photos of the existing board — and we will confirm what we can build and any equivalent options.

Do you deliver and offload?

We deliver UK-wide. Standard deliveries are palletised with tail-lift offload to kerbside; for large boards we arrange dedicated transport and can coordinate with your crane or forklift on site.

Pricing a switchgear manufacture job?

Send whatever you have — a drawing, a spec, or a description of the problem — and we'll come back with a straight quotation: standard panels in hours, complex projects priced properly.
