About ENICO

A switchgear manufacturer, panel builder and automation company based in Stoke-on-Trent — built around one idea: do the engineering properly and make the paperwork impossible to lose.

ENICO designs and builds low-voltage switchgear and control panels: changeover and ATS panels, G99 protection, G100 export and import limitation, switchboards and distribution, generator control, BMS panels — through to complete modular skids and containerised switchrooms with the switchgear installed and tested before delivery.

That breadth is deliberate. Most projects don't need five suppliers; they need one workshop that can take a single-line diagram and hand back a tested assembly with honest documentation. Consultation, design, build, test, delivery and documentation all happen under one 8,000 sq ft roof in Stoke-on-Trent — and we're a Made in Britain member, because that's literally what we do.

We work for electrical contractors, controls specialists, energy companies and end clients across the UK — on anything from a one-off changeover panel to repeat builds for multi-site rollouts.

How a job runs

  1. 1.Consultation

Tell us the problem — a drawing helps, but a phone call is enough to start. We ask the questions that matter early.

  2. 2.Design

Schematics and GA drawings produced for your approval before anything is cut, drilled or wired.

  3. 3.Build

Assembled in our Stoke-on-Trent workshop — segregated, ferruled and labelled properly, because the next engineer to open the door matters.

  4. 4.Test

Inspection and testing before dispatch, with the certificate in the documentation pack. Nothing ships on hope.

  5. 5.Deliver

Palletised or dedicated transport UK-wide, coordinated with your site so the panel arrives when the programme needs it.

  6. 6.Document

Every panel carries a QR code linking to its as-built drawings, manuals and test certificate — for life.

Who we work with

Electrical contractors, solar EPCs and installers, OEMs and end clients across the UK — on anything from a one-off panel to an ongoing build programme. If you order the same panel again and again, we're at our best: we optimise it once, then build it consistently, batch after batch.

Send us your spec or single-line diagram

Email a drawing, a schedule of loads or a description of the job. Standard panels are priced in hours; complex projects get the engineering time honest pricing needs — either way, you talk straight to the person building it.
