Modular Switchgear Skids
Switchgear mounted, wired and tested on a steel skid — arriving on site as one finished module.
Site time is the most expensive time on any project. A modular skid moves that work into the factory: switchgear, control panels, containment and interconnecting wiring assembled onto a steel base in our workshop, tested as a complete system, then delivered to site as a single lift.
ENICO designs and builds skid-mounted switchgear packages for energy projects, temporary and permanent plant, and anywhere programme pressure makes on-site assembly the wrong answer.
Why skid-mount
One delivery, one lift, one connection point
The module arrives with switchgear mounted, glanded and terminated internally — site work reduces to landing the skid and connecting the incoming and outgoing cables.
Factory-tested as a system
Interconnections, controls and protection are tested together before dispatch — faults are found on the bench, not during commissioning week.
Engineered steelwork
Fabricated bases with lifting points and transport securing designed for the equipment they carry.
Repeatable for multi-site rollouts
Once the first skid is approved, every subsequent unit is built to the same tested design — ideal for EV charging, storage and generation rollouts.

Common questions
What are the size and weight limits?
Most skids are sized to travel on a standard flatbed and lift with a mobile crane or forklift. Tell us what the module needs to contain and we design the base and transport arrangement around it.
Can you include equipment we free-issue?
Yes — inverters, meters, comms cabinets and client-specified switchgear are regularly integrated alongside the assemblies we build.
Is a skid or a container the right choice?
If the equipment needs weather protection and walk-in access, a container switchroom is usually right; if it will live inside a building or under a canopy, a skid is simpler and cheaper. We build both, so the recommendation is honest.

Pricing a modular skids job?
Send whatever you have — a drawing, a spec, or a description of the problem — and we'll come back with a straight quotation: standard panels in hours, complex projects priced properly.
