Privacy policy

This policy explains how ENICO Ltd("ENICO", "we") handles personal information collected through this website.

What we collect and why

When you send an enquiry or quote request we collect the details you provide — name, company, email address, phone number and the content of your message. We use them solely to respond to your enquiry and, where it leads to work, to carry it out. The lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries and, where applicable, steps taken to enter into a contract with you.

Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs (IP address, pages requested) for security and reliability purposes.

Who processes it

The website is hosted by our hosting provider, and enquiry emails are delivered by our email delivery provider, each acting as a processor on our behalf. We do not sell personal data, and we do not use it for marketing without asking you first.

How long we keep it

Enquiries are retained for as long as needed to deal with them and for a reasonable period afterwards for business records. Records connected to supplied equipment are kept for the life of the equipment so we can support it.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where we have no continuing need for it. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
