A converted container is the fastest way to put a weatherproof, secure switchroom on a site: no groundworks beyond a base, no building programme, and the whole electrical fit-out done in the factory. ENICO modifies new and used containers into finished switchrooms with the switchgear installed, wired and tested before the container leaves the workshop.
From personnel doors and ventilation to lighting, small power, containment and the switchboard itself, the container arrives as a working electrical room — connect the incoming supply and the outgoing circuits, and it's live.

Structural modifications
Personnel doors, cable entries, louvres and equipment apertures cut and framed properly — not angle-ground and hoped for.
Insulation, lining and ventilation
Insulated and lined interiors with ventilation or cooling sized for the heat the equipment will reject.
Complete electrical fit-out
Lighting, small power, containment and earthing installed alongside the switchgear, distribution and control panels the room exists to house.
Switchgear installed and tested
The switchboard, protection panels and control equipment are installed, interconnected and tested in the factory — the container ships as a working system.

Common questions
What does the site need to provide?
A level base (concrete pad or ground beams), craneage or HIAB access for the delivery, and the incoming and outgoing cables. Everything inside the container is done before it arrives.
New or used containers?
Both. New ('one-trip') containers cost more but arrive unmarked; good refurbished units are perfectly serviceable for most sites. We quote the options so you can choose.
Do you fit out customer-supplied containers?
No — we supply the container. We buy new or one-trip units in, modify and fit them out in our workshop, and deliver a finished switchroom built to your requirements. One supplier, one responsibility, and no surprises about the container's condition.
