Generator Control Panels

AMF and generator management panels that start, run and protect your standby plant.

A generator is only as dependable as the panel that controls it. ENICO builds automatic mains failure (AMF) panels and generator control panels around industry-standard controllers — sensing the mains, starting the set, transferring the load and returning it when the supply is healthy again.

Our work is the switchgear side of the set — controllers, transfer, protection coordination and signalling — alongside your generator supplier's engine-side kit. We integrate the panel with changeover switching, building controls and remote monitoring.

What we build

  • AMF panels

Mains monitoring, automatic engine start, load transfer and safe return with adjustable timers — built on Deep Sea Electronics and ComAp controllers, configured and tested.

  • Backup-only or grid-parallel

Simple ATS-and-generator backup schemes, through to synchronous sets running alongside the grid for peak lopping and load management — with the G99 side handled in-house.

  • Remote monitoring and signalling

Status, alarm and fuel-level signalling to your BMS or monitoring platform — on site or over the network.

  • Combined AMF and changeover assemblies

Control panel and transfer switchgear in one tested assembly, keeping the site wiring simple and the responsibility in one place.

  • 24V chargers and batteries

Float chargers and batteries for continuous connection — keeping starting and controller batteries healthy, so the set actually starts when it matters.

Common questions

Can you replace an obsolete generator control panel?

Yes — this is a common job. We survey the existing panel and engine wiring, build a modern replacement around a current controller, and support the changeover so downtime is planned rather than discovered.

Will your panel work with our existing generator?

Almost certainly. Tell us the set's make, engine and current controller (a photo of the panel helps) and we will confirm compatibility and any sender or wiring changes needed.

Do you supply the changeover switchgear too?

Yes — most AMF projects pair the control panel with our changeover and ATS switchgear, either as separate assemblies or combined into one panel.

Pricing a generator control job?

Send whatever you have — a drawing, a spec, or a description of the problem — and we'll come back with a straight quotation: standard panels in hours, complex projects priced properly.
